All players who want to play HRBBA Traveling Basketball are required to attend their grade's tryout session.
Tryouts take place over 2 days in which players will participate in a variety of basketball drills and scrimmages.
Evaluations are conducted by a combination of coaches, board members, and evaluators with a deep understanding of basketball.
Our goal is to be impartial, professional and as fair as possible by placing players based on skill level, ability, athleticism and attitude. Not all players will be selected for a team.
During evaluations we ask that you refrain from requesting information or soliciting opinions about players, or team assignments, from coaches and independent evaluators.
What to Bring
PLEASE DO NOT BRING A BASKETBALL OR WEAR JERSEYS FROM PRIOR YEARS THAT INCLUDE NAMES
Players will be identified by their tryout number which will be provided on arrival at tryouts.
Required Parent Meeting
HRBBA will send more information on this topic prior to tryout weekend.
Tryout Time Conflicts
We understand players may have a conflict during their tryout time. In order to select teams to the best of our ability, it is very important that players attend tryouts with their grade.
In the event a player is unable to attend tryouts, please contact Matt Dalle by emailing Coaching@hrbbabasketball.net before Friday, September 22.
Injured Players
Players who are injured and unable to participate in tryouts, but will be healthy for the season should contact Matt Dalle at Coaching@hrbbabasketball.net. Injured players will be evaluated to the best of our ability. These players should register and attend tryouts.

Parents are not allowed to observe the tryout process.
Reminder - Parents must register their player ONLINE - day of tryout registrations will not be allowed.
