2009-2010 Season Information

2009-2010 Registration Form

Hopkins will be entering teams into the Southwest Recreational Basketball
League, which has been operating for several years and also includes teams
from Minnetonka, Wayzata, and Orono.  We believe this program presents a
very fun and exciting opportunity for those many kids who will not be on a
high school team yet would like to continue playing organized basketball in
a real-game atmosphere.

This league is for boys in grades 9 - 12 who attend Hopkins schools or live
in the Hopkins school district.  Games will usually be on Sunday afternoon
with an occasional Friday night game.  The season runs from January through
March with a combination of home and away games and ending with a
tournament.  As this is a recreational program, there will be no 'cuts' -
everyone who registers will be placed on a team.

A general time line:

November; registrations will be accepted.

Early December; an informal evaluation day will be held and teams will be
selected.

Early January; the season will begin.

Mid March; season ending tournament..
